🌻 Your energy levels have decreased;
🌻 You're snapping at others;
🌻 Everything is starting to feel like a chore / work;
🌻 You're feeling trapped in a negative situation;
🌻 You're struggling to engage in anything besides your current stressors;
🌻 You're feeling overwhelmed by your responsibilities;
🌻 You're becoming more defensive / protective of your feelings;
🌻 You've started escaping more into your imagination / re-living better times;
🌻You're doing more mindless / aimless activities than usual (for example, watching excess TV);
🌻You're getting "hung up" on / triggered by things that normally wouldn't bother you;
🌻 You're experiencing changes in sleep pattern (for example, insomnia or excess sleeping);
🌻 You're prioritising immediate pleasure / comfort more and more over long-term gains;
🌻 You've started withdrawing from your friends / loved ones;

There’s this elephant in the room - And it’s time we kick this elephant right on out through the front freakin’ door.
For this elephant is a woman -
Talking about another woman.
(Sidenote: don’t message to tell me that i’m calling women elephants. you all know what I mean. moving on.)
But, you guys.
It’s not just a woman TALKING about another woman.
Nope, it’s more than that.
For this elephant is a woman BELITTLING another woman.
About her outfit choices. relationship choices. career choices. decor choices. motherhood choices. choices about religion, nutrition, finances.
(for Forsadly appears that a woman’s choice about ANYTHING can be fair game 😒 #ugh)
Can I let you all in on a little secret (that is not really a secret), my friends?
it
is
none
of
your
business.
Let’s say that again.
IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS ✌🏽
That’s right.
What another woman chooses to do in her life (or with her life) is none of your concern.
Like zero. zilch. nada.
(And, to be honest, the fact that a woman’s choices could be the basis for entertainment is just kinda’ appalling, really. Like, mak s me feel a bit yucky inside, sorta’ thing. Anyway.)
Listen.
Here’s the scoop:
The amount of time that you spend in a conversation pokin’ fun at another woman, whispering about another woman, allowing yourself to verbally judge another woman,
You miss out on genuine conversation with another woman 💫
(and if all of your conversations with friends revolve around chatting about other women, well, you need new friends. new circles. new conversation. because no great friendship was built on the degrading of women. trust me on that one.)
Don’t spend time focusing on another’s life, that you forget to live your own, Ladies.
Instead, be the woman who says “You do you, boo”, as you high five all the other women that you pass in solidarity 👯♀️
For we’re all just wingin’ this life gig anyway.
Trying to make good decisions. Finding ourselves in a couple bad ones. Not really knowing if and when we’re messing up until it happens.
...all while drinking copious amounts of caffeine, buying books we never have the time to read, and just...living

The end of a year often leaves us feeling pensive about what we’ve achieved during the past 365 days, our lifestyle and changes we’d like to make for the future. This self reflection frequently manifests itself as the creation of New Year’s resolutions. These tend to become ambitious, life-changing statements which promise a sprint towards a major goal or life change. Often, our New Year’s resolutions are neither specific nor measurable. Both qualities we know are essential to creating achievable goals.
Some 88% of us don’t stick to our new plans, because New Year’s resolutions set us up for failure. A symptom of our always-on, instant gratification culture is that we’re constantly in a hurry and are promised a myriad of quick fixes to help us reach our goals sooner. Unfortunately, lasting change in lifestyle and mindset takes time. A great way to do this is to choose a guiding word of the year instead.
