That's great, come up with a plan that NOBODY would go for. You want one that would work? Here you go: Russia withdraws to the 2013 borders HOWEVER Ukraine agrees to allow Russian civilian ships priority access to Black Sea ports with the UN building and overseeing rail lines from Belgorod or Krasnodor or a city to be named later to Sevastopol. Ukraine agrees to stop seeking NATO membership as long as Russia abides by the pax but if Russia invades again they automatically gain admittance. Ukraine gets its sovereignty, Russia gets its warm-water ports AND keeps NATO 700 km away -- the only concession is Russia recognizing another sovereign nation's right to exist as being worth more than even their own (and North Korea's and West Taiwan's) citizens' lives (which is why it'll never happen).
