I was hit 2012. I was hiking out of the woods to get to my car for safety, from an approaching storm. When the ground turned into a spider web of sparks. Then a thin, perfect straight line of sparks going straight up appeared about three feet in front of me. Then it just exploded. My face and front side were burnt. I lost my vision for a minute or two. When I recovered I realized it threw me a good 10 feet into an embankment. I was completely covered with mud and there was a hole, on the ground where the lightning shot out from. I could only crawl, but I made it to my car on adrenalin.

I love storm chasing. My mom thinks I'm crazy and I'm like well that's okay lol I love it. Always have. One time I was at a place doing arcades with my dad one time when I was like 12 and a storm came in and we had 90 mile an hour winds and the tornado was literally forming right above us and I watched it spin like it was starting to spin. Did end up hitting. But I thought it was the coolest looking thing ever. I just stood there looking right up at it and I was so amazed I couldn't walk away. My brother yelled at me and he's like come on Dad's in the truck already We got to go and I'm like hold on a minute 😅
