I think a prime Hendry, having grown up in the late 2000s and having a proper cue he would get use to like his first and then playing on these fast cushions, so thin that they forgive you if you touch the side when playing a cushion shot. Playing with the improved equipment, tips, chalk and weight adjustment of a cue he would be even greater than he was in the 90s. Look at this century records in the late 80s and 90s ridiculous numbers. Today they use the tables additional speed to get perfect position everytime and knock in centuries for fun to the point were no one talks about them as.much
I could see.him dominate and win 5/6 titles.

I think itâs a bit of a silly question because we will never know. How many would Reardon win if he was around as a young player etc. Fast forward this conversation to 30 years time and you will be asking the same questions of players from this era to the players then too. You can only compete with the players who are around in your own time as a player.

If you play any cue sports youâd know, playing by yourself youâd be amazing, but when come a tournament most people games drop. Itâs all about mentality and hendry was a beast at this. Even when 90% of the crowd wanted him to lose it didnât affect him not one bit. He thrived in a pressure environment like no other player this day. Is he as good as Ronnie? No but heâd beat Ronnie more often than not.

At his peak Hendry would adjust his game to win multiple titles. I remember broken Hendry besting O'Sullivan in 2002. Anger won him that match.
