the nurses didn't tell me that to me also I just thought maybe I don't have milk can I start feeding my son formula because that's what they told me in the hospital if you want you can give him formula and I said can I breastfeed him yes if you want to but the formula is as good,🤷♀️ then I got an internal infection off the hemorrhage that I have after giving birth my first son and I was taking antibiotics and I didn't want to breastfeed my child the doctor says oh you can breastfeed but if you don't feel comfortable just feeding him formula; then my son develop a lactose intolerant and I had to buy an expensive special formula, Now we are not fond of drinking milk we eat yogurt, cheeses, ice-cream etc. Now my son is 30 years old and he doesn't have no lactose intolerance he got over that lactose intolerance when he was a little kid thank GOD

No one helped me and I struggled so hard to breastfeed. The nurses ignored me and I didn't have a mother. My husband (now my ex) blamed me for what I didn't know. I wish I could go back in time and tell my past self that milk comes in in 3 days AND to drink enough water to stay hydrated during hot summer days.
