Sansi seriously gets all the praise for my collection! From ZZ's to alocasias and snake plants and prayer plants... I've got some of everything, even a cactus which scares me, and without Sansi I'd just have thousands in drag plants... They're amazing! I had a grow bulb go out last week. I had ordered it from Amazon in July of 2022, I reached out to ask if it was on warranty as I had no information on it except my order through Amazon. They literally responded same day "we will send you a new one. It's this address correct?" I said yes and thanked them profusely. I ordered another backup just in case as winter is dark and they had a 40% off coupon but it was the absolute easiest transaction ever and they acted with urgency clearly understanding that a plant without a grow light is going to decline! I def love them even more now! π

Ive had aloe for 15yrs +. Started as 1 little pup left on the backdoor step for a week with no pot. To multiple large plants that i have to prune every year or 2. The majority live on east facing window and I rarely save the pups as I've flooded every person near me with them.
I have found them to be very forgiving to most neglect. In fact I'd say the only ways to kill them without trying REALLY hard would be water or frost. You can often still save overwatered as long as a couple of the newest leaves are ok.
They are not good for animals, but they will rarely go back after one taste. Humans shouldn't consume them until thoroughly processed to remove the sticky yellow sap as it can really do a number on your kidneys.
Over all a great beginner plant, esp for those on the forgetful side.
