I grow red, yellow and green chard and I don't find the stalks fibrous. I always use the stalks but I will chop them to size depending on how big the stalks are. Having said that I do pick my chard while it's still quite small. I use it in many ways but for those who aren't familiar with chard, you can cook it in whatever way you like to cook spinach. I prefer it to spinach. It has an earthy flavour which I find delicious!

Chard is one of my favorite to grow!! I sautee ours with kale and our home grown garlic 🧄 and the flavors balance out nicely, sweet and earthy, tastes like vitality 💪🏻 I grow a variety of rainbow chard so not just the red, do you know if the red has more health benefits than the rainbow 🌈 varie
