📱💬 Discover the secrets to effective texting! In this video, Matthew Hussey shares three valuable tips to level up your texting game.

📍First, learn the importance of giving value in your text messages. Avoid generic inquiries like "What are you up to?" and instead, send engaging and interesting messages that showcase your personality.

💭🚫 Eliminate the uncertainty by crafting texts with clarity. Instead of asking vague questions, express your intentions directly. For example, invite someone to join you for an event or activity, demonstrating confidence.

💪📝 Lastly, use texts to assert your standards and communicate your expectations. Matthew shares an empowering example where a woman playfully communicates her preference for a proper date with a touch of charm.

Texting enables bad communication styles, picking up the phone and speaking shows value if its appropriate.

I agree with his point, but I also think it depends on his level of interest. If he really genuinely likes you, you don’t have to be super creative with your texts. He will be thrilled to see you. That said, it’s not a good idea to chase a man.

I have been with my husband for 21 years. He text all his feelings good or bad.I am not someone that likes to text because I think there is too much room for a misunderstanding. If it’s important I would rather be told in person. My husband gets upset because I don’t text him daily letting him know how much I love him. I am someone that shows love through gestures and doing things to show him I love him.

I like a lot of your advice! But I gotta say, I HATE when someone asks, “Can I tell you something?” It’s soooo annoying. Comes across as very unsure and insecure. Makes me immediately roll my eyes and wanna snap back, “Just what you want to say.” I appreciate respectful, direct communication. I’m sure a lot of guys do as well. Esp if they are mature.

Blessings!

Yes, I agree.
You should give them an informational platform to go on instead of asking random questions which is one sided.

I think it's fine to ask a question in some contexts. If someone asks how I'm doing or a specific Q, I give an answer & then inquire about them as well. It's important to show interest in other people that way.

No matter what many people say, the truth remains that relationships became a challenge and high wall to climb when everything in it was given a defined formula for doing it, and superficial performance taking the place of genuineness and purpose.

This definitely gives room for thought! Thank you 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 While I agree there is value in actual convo but with changing work schedules, multiple children & such sometimes texting is necessary… I’m up for a chat too & even video chatting if I’m not bombarded with situations at home or at work… communication is good as long as it’s open, receptive and respectfu

In general I like questions. I don’t like when someone assumes something about what I’d like to do. You can say, It would be fun to have you join me. Are you free? Instead of simply You should come. Just feels better for me that way at beginning of a relationship
