I ended up fishing 2 small commercial gumball machines out of the dumpster from a closed store next to where I worked.
The guy I worked with helped me as they are heavier than you'd think.
I had a friend who helped me pick the locks then ordered new ones for them with keys.
I got over $200 out of them in quarters and tossed the stale candy(the store was closed for over a year with these machines in the window.
There was no sticker with ownership on the machines and my boss said that the old renter owned them outright.
But I sold one and kept one.
