My peace lily stopped blooming. A friend suggested checking the stems where I cut back dieing blooms. Within the stems from the cut spathes are dead harden stems (they resemble little chop sticks) I did this and pulled out all of the old dead stems and my peace lily burst back into life.
Best tip I ever received!!! Keep the stems cleaned when cut out spathes have had a chance to dry and harden... your peace lily will reward you tremendously. They can't rebloom with blocked stems. I never heard about that in any videos... hopefully this will help some of your viewers as an extra tip.

Agree. I've had my Peace Lilly for a few years, and after the initial flowers died off, it didn't bloom again. Then in early summer I moved it closer to the window, and that did the trick. It has a flower coming and I'm so pleased. And that was all it was. Simple!

SOO TRUE! I moved a year ago and my PL (just 2 flowers the first year i got it, 8 years ago) is now at a window where it’s basically boiling hot in the summer. Two VERY hyper dense strange alien looking flowers came out of it. It’s like it was accumulating all flower power energy and decided to explode, literally hahahahahhhahhaha

My plant journey started with a Spathiphyllum, I named her Jennie! I like big leaves so usually I cut off the flowers. Now I have 5 of them all quite big but not my very first, Jennie is very bushy with little leaves ❤

Peace lilies flowers are often induced with hormones in nurseries before sales so you can be doing everything right and still not get it to flower or only get one or two! Bright lights, a fertilizer that encourages blooming and then you may be able to get it going!

I have the opposite problem. My peace lily flowers too much and I cut all of them down because of the pollen they drop-it scatters all of over the leaves and makes them dusty and unnatractive. I cut all the blooms I see!
