I’m 73 years old and in my lifetime I have watched almost every movie and TV show about Jesus Christ, but what Dallas Jenkins and the actors in The Chosen is just magnificent! Something about The Chosen is touching so many people and bringing them to God. I believe that this is last chance before the end of days for those not accepting of Christ to turn their lives around before the end!

When you visit 'the tomb' in Israel, even if it's not THE tomb of our Lord, a solemnity comes over you and a quietness that is difficult to express. Even though the location is in the middle of a bustling, large city, it's quiet there. The fullness of the experience cannot be overstated. I wish I had a photo in the tomb but I remember clearly feeling it was inappropriate to take photos there. It was too sacred.

This scene rocked me the first time I saw it. In the Bible we knew she was there watching the entire miracle. But to have this added tidbit thrown in was eloquent and smart of the Chosen team because it performs its own foreshadowing of what is to come! They nailed this scene! Brava!
