I see a lot of comments from people that obviously don’t understand what’s actually going on. This is a coin exchanger in a laundry mat. He’s referring to people bringing their own quarters to the laundry mat, that’s where the surplus comes in. He empties the washers and dryers, then uses the coins to refill the exchanger he’s showing us.

Ok I think I understand, he must own the laundry machines too, so he restocks the exchange machine with the same quarters that are used to run the laundry machines, and that is how it makes profit.
