The snappy hit sounds of the Street Fighter series is partly why I couldn’t get into the more modern Mortal Kombats. The hits are waaaay too much thud and too little like *cracks*. While it may sound more realistic for thuds than cracks, it’s definitely less satisfying.

I gotta be honest, to me it's the complete opposite. I may be different than most people but sound actually distracts me more than it helps; it literally slow my reaction and that's why i always turn off all audio. Since i was a little child, i always had a very sensitive, well developed hearing and sight, so i have trouble often times to pick things for entertainment because of it. I usually go for low volume and simple amount of frequencies and not much colors, but i ended up liking a genre that has lots of them and that's FGs lol, but lucky me i can always turn the audio down/off and take off the color saturation and that solves most of the time.
Please lemme know that i'm not alone here? >.<
