what I love about this movie is the modern song adaptations from the 1970's Christmas carol

What I don't understand is why Scrooge has a dog. I don't imagine Scrooge being able to tolerate a dog. They are messy, they knock things over, ect. Don't get me wrong, he's cute, and probably there for the kids, I'm just surprised he's there. The whole point of Scrooge is that he has completely closed himself off. No man or animal wants to be near him, so the addition of a canine companion is a little odd.

It was very nice. What I didn’t like was the demonization of a character who expects his clientS to pay him their debt. If I can honest. I think the actual old school movies lack of the entitlement part and focus on the bitterness of the main character despite people around him being good. What I loved was that they gave a backstory to why he hates Xmas day so much. And the songs were brilliant!

I love the song and I love how they added a lot of little symbolic moments in the movie. Like the baby with the different eye color who turned out to be the guy who works under Scrooge! 😭😭

Is it the best adaptation? No, but you can tell the people working on it cared about it and it shows. Just look at that snow animation. The songs weren't Renaissance Disney, but they were decent in my opinion.
I don't think it's going to be my new favorite version, but it's not one I'd have a problem watching again.

The only thing I don't like about this movie is that they changed the ghosts and make scrooge look weird and changed a bit of the story

The animation and music were absolutely STUNNING! The only thing that bothered me was that the story kind of got lost a bit. I do like some of the changes they made, but with all the flashy animation and music numbers it just seems like the heaviness and richness of the tale got a bit lost.

I think this movie's really good. Their version of Ghost of Christmas Past has to be my favorite version so far. :)
