Palolem beach is hailed by many as THE beach to visit not just in South Goa but in all of Goa. Patnem Beach is one of my favourite, it is not as well known as Palolem beach so is more secluded. I had a wonderful day visit to Agonda Beach, the accommodation here looked fantastic and I would like to stay at Agonda some time. Cola beach has nothing to do with Coco Cola, or the colour of the rocks and sand, and is a lovely quiet beaches in two parts (the main Cola Beach and Little Cola Beach). Colva beach is beautiful and popular, make sure you head away from the circle where everyone arrives to make the most of Colva beach. Varca beach is another south Goa beach which is not well signed making for a quieter beach than some of the other beaches in South Goa. Benaulim Beach is beautiful, one of the more northerly of the south Goa beaches but really beautiful. Utorda is a great option if you are looking for a quieter beach in South Goa as it is not as well known as some of the others such as Palolem or Colva beach. Majorda Beach is a popular beach in South Goa, especially with many local visitors to Goa beaches.
