Countdown had a lot of guest appearances on the show from both Australian and International artists and helped launch the careers of AC/DC, Abba, Blondie, Madonna, John Mellencamp, Cyndi Lauper and Meatloaf amongst other. This playlist contains videos that I have personally remastered myself, both from DVD's and recorded from TV performances as the ABC occasionally plays Countdown clips on its weekend music show, Rage. I have mainly used artificial intelligence software to restore them to a better quality and professionally upscale them to 4K and to improve the picture, while also replacing the old (sometimes mono) audio with better quality tracks, preferable in either .wav or .flac formats which are lossless and of CD quality.
