Fun Fact: The liver is an extraordinary organ with a unique ability to regenerate itself! Believe it or not, up to 75% of a liver can regenerate to its full size. How amazing is that!?

Did you know that the liver is the only organ in the human body capable of regenerating itself to this extent? This remarkable process allows the liver to recover from damage and continue performing its crucial functions, such as detoxifying the blood, producing bile for digestion, proteins for proper fluid volume, and storing essential vitamins and minerals.

So if your liver enzymes are high there isa good chance your liver can bounce back. The main thing si finding and removing the cause. Stay tuned for more health-related facts and insights!

Here’s a sneak peek at my upcoming video…

Inflammation can sometimes be hard to pin down. We all know it exists, but how much do we really understand about what causes and drives our own inflammation? Maybe you’ve tried some food experiments, food allergy testing, or made diet changes yourself. But have you ever had a way to measure the physical responses?

I conducted some diet experiments and tracked my inflammation using an at-home device that measures sedimentation rate.

Join me this Thursday, 6/27 at 10 am for the results of this experiment! I’ll share insights on how gluten and sugar impacted my inflammation and provide tips on how you can decode your own inflammation.

One thing that continues to fascinate me about health and the human body is the power of the mind and the role of stress. I made this design with that in mind and it's good reminder too. Share your thoughts about this t-shirt.

Age adjusted normal testosterone levels. This graphic and corresponding study provides some guidelines to better understand what "normal testosterone" levels are and should be. It is useful context to have when considering starting testosterone or not. I don't know of any studies like this on free or bioavailable testosterone though. medicine.umich.edu/sites/default/files/content/dow…

Screen shot from this paper www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3983453/ on the mechanism of post infectious IBS and the chronic GI distress that follows GI infectious. Notice the bottom right section where the nerves are effected. More on this topic coming soon.

The FREE live stream event will be on Abnormal Lab Results (36% voted for this). This is a broad area to cover so I would like to narrow it down some. BTW, feel free to suggest something in the comment section if it is not listed. So what areas of abnormal labs interests you the most ?

Always learning new things... I was trying to understand the overlap of different amine detoxification pathways and came across this review article. It is really well done and had this nice graphic showing the overlap of genetics and environmental sources histamine and histamine intolerance. There is so much to cover on histamine issues and this is a great Illustration in my opinion. What do you think? BTW new video on histamine intolerance coming soon... www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8308327/
