Families in Gaza are resorting to eating donkeys, ground up macaroni as flour or moldy bread. The situation is dire. This is the most important campaign we have ever done.

Our team on the ground in Gaza has secured a large shipment of flour — enough to feed thousands of people!

Right now, you have the rare chance to provide urgent relief and earn immense reward by feeding a family in need. Don’t miss it — act now and make a real difference.

Tonight, half the world will be praying on what could be the most powerful night of the year—the 27th night of Ramadan. While we can’t say for certain, some narrations suggest that Laylatul Qadr falls on this night.

As always, we’ll be praying just as we have every night this Ramadan, alhamdulillah—but with an extra layer of hope that maybe, just maybe, this is the night.

And tonight, in our duas, we will be asking Allāh to bless, forgive, and shower immense barakah upon every single person who has supported our Ramadan campaign for the people of Gaza. If you haven’t had the chance yet, it’s not too late. Giving in these last ten nights is an opportunity beyond measure—who knows, if Allāh accepts it, this could be your one-way ticket to Jannah, in-shā’Allāh. This Ramadan has been unlike any we’ve experienced in Canada. There’s a peace and tranquility here that can only come from standing among thousands who are praying like you, waiting like you, making dua like you, and breaking their fasts just like you. Together, as one ummah.

It has been nothing short of amazing—an absolute blessing that has only solidified our decision to make this hijrah. And this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to share more of this journey with you, showing you day by day the beauty of this place through our experiences and the lives of those who call it home.

Until next time, stay blessed and please keep us in your duas.

And just like that, we’re nearing the final ten nights of Ramadan. This year, it feels different—darker, heavier. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster. Every moment has been a clash of highs and lows, happiness and grief, frustration and anger. While we sit down to break our fasts, our brothers and sisters are dying from hunger. As our children laugh and play, their children are running for their lives, screaming in fear. Our children wake to the sound of the athan, while theirs wake to bombs and explosions.

How can we find joy in a time when we witness a genocide unfolding before our eyes? How can we celebrate when so many are suffering in silence, abandoned by the world?

Shame on the world. Shame on our leaders. Shame on us for taking the blessings Allah has granted us for granted.

Ramadan has slipped away, just like every year, passing in what feels like the blink of an eye. With every day gone, we’ve lost an opportunity to earn boundless rewards, multiplying our good deeds. But it’s not too late. The people of Gaza need us more than ever. Our team is on the ground, purchasing supplies and doing what they can to distribute aid. Please, I urge you to follow the links and donate—your contribution is 100% zakah-eligible. LaunchGood.com/Support_the_People_of_Gaza_w_The_Sa…

On a lighter note, this past week, we finally saw our cartoon come to life. After five months of hard work, it feels surreal to witness it now. If you haven’t yet, you can watch it on Durioo Plus. www.duriooplus.com/tryforfree

Thank you all for your unwavering support. We love and appreciate each and every one of you. May Allah bless us all and grant us the strength to give for His sake, especially to those who need it the most. Ameen. 🙏🏻

Salam, fam!

Another week has flown by in the blink of an eye! I’m back home from Egypt, and wow—what a shift. Here in Malaysia, Ramadan began on the night of March 1st, and just like that, we’re already fasting our 10th day! Soon enough Ramadan will leave us for another year, and we have no guarantee that we will see the next...

Now is the time to multiply our good deeds. One of the most powerful acts of worship this month is helping those in need. But let’s not forget—it could just as easily be us in their position.

Our campaign for Gazans, both inside and outside the Gaza Strip, is still going strong. In fact, one of our team members just sent a thank-you video from Gaza City for all of you who continue to give. Please, give to your fullest capacity, and remember: we can’t take our wealth with us, but we can use it to build our home in the next life. Contribute here: LaunchGood.com/Support_the_People_of_Gaza_w_The_Sa…

Also to our Malaysian followers 🇲🇾 We’re hosting our very first Iftar Fundraiser Dinner, and we’d love for you to be part of it! Imagine coming together for a beautiful evening—enjoying authentic Palestinian cuisine, hearing powerful stories, and, most importantly, raising vital funds to support the people of Gaza.
It’s more than just a meal—it’s a chance to make a real impact.
Grab your tickets using the link below, and we hope to see you there, in shā’ Allāh! Tickets: www.eventbookings.com/b/event/iftaar-for-gaza-a-ni…

On another note, we’ll be sharing more stories from our trip soon—fair warning, have your tissues ready.

Also, our latest podcast episode, “Atheism to Islam,” just dropped! It follows Will’s journey from being a non-believer to traveling the world in search of knowledge and understanding of Islam. Definitely check it out—it even includes some sneak peeks from our upcoming guest appearance on Durioo Plus’ “Showtime.” Yes, we’re about to become a cartoon family! 😱 The full episode airs March 18, exclusively on Durioo Plus!

Lastly, we want to hear from you! What would you love to see next? More podcast topics? Mosque tours? Ramadan bazaars? We want to bring you the best, most engaging content possible, in-shā Āllah, so drop your ideas in the comments!

As always, thank you for your unwavering support. May Allah accept our fasts, prayers, and charity amīn 🤲🏻

Much love,
The Saleh Family

Salam Saleh Fam,

Monday’s newsletter is a little late, but for good reason…

We arrived in Egypt on Sunday, February 23rd, and what we’ve experienced here is beyond words. Moments of pure joy—playing with children from Gaza at the therapy center—followed by heartbreaking sorrow, listening to their mothers share the unimaginable stories of how they ended up here.

We all see the videos online, but standing face to face with these families, hearing their voices tremble as they recount their losses—it’s an entirely different reality.

One family’s story has been replaying in my mind over and over again…

They were told to evacuate from the north to the south. They did as instructed. Along the way, their family was bombed. Their six-year-old daughter was martyred instantly. Their son, barely holding on, suffered devastating internal injuries—shrapnel tearing through his kidneys and intestines. Their mother—what can we even say?—her leg was shattered in multiple places. And she was pregnant.

In the chaos, in the shock of it all, she gave birth. A daughter. But this precious soul was not meant for this world for long. She passed away after just three months.

Now, this mother and her three surviving children have made it to Egypt for urgent medical care, but at the cost of leaving behind her husband and two other sons.

And this isn’t the exception. This is the rule. Families shattered, displaced, separated.

We are here, hand-delivering your hard-earned donations to bring these families shelter, food, medical care, education, and financial support. And I have to say—the people of Egypt have left a mark on our hearts. They refuse to build refugee camps. They insist that their Palestinian brothers and sisters live as they do—side by side, as neighbors, as honored guests.

Right now, we are on our way to witness life-saving surgeries—surgeries that YOU made possible.

Ramadan is just around the corner, and as we prepare for a month of reflection, generosity, and mercy, please, continue giving as much as you can, as often as you can.

I will never forget the smiles of the children, finally playing as every child should—free from the sounds of war. Just as I will never forget the look in their mothers’ eyes as they relive the pain of survival.

This is 2025. This is 2025.
How are we allowing this to happen? 😭

May Allah bless you all for your generosity. May He grant ease to those suffering. And may we never turn away from their cries.

With love and du’as,
Will and Sana

Happy Monday, fam!

This past week, we dropped two new episodes of the Saleh Family Speaks podcast, and it feels SO good to be back in the studio! We didn’t release an episode yesterday because it was Yusuf’s 2nd BIRTHDAY! We were completely swamped hosting friends and putting together the kids’ trampoline we brought from Canada. Let’s just say… hindsight is 20/20. Since when do I have to stitch the trampoline together myself?! Last time, it came ready to go! 🤣

Meanwhile, seeing our friends in Canada STRUGGLING with all that snow makes us even more grateful that Allah  has brought us to this beautiful land.

This week is H-E-C-T-I-C. Sana is in the studio five times finishing her voice acting role as the narrator for Seerah Nabawiya, we have major meetings lined up, and we’re recording a podcast breaking down EVERYTHING you need to know about MM2H, SEZ/SFZ, and Labuan visas for moving to Malaysia. Oh, and on top of all that… we’re prepping for our humanitarian trip to Egypt THIS WEEKEND!

We can’t wait to take you along and show you firsthand where your donations go and how they’re changing lives. This mission never stops, and we’ll always turn to you for support, in-shā'Allāh.

Not only are we working to sponsor as many Gazan children as possible, but we’re also building something truly incredible in Gaza itself. More on that next week! Contribute here: LaunchGood.com/Support_the_People_of_Gaza_w_The_Sa…

As always, our dear Saleh family, we love and appreciate you endlessly. Thank you for helping us achieve these huge goals and bringing smiles to so many. May you be blessed with the best in this life and the hereafter.

Ameen, Allahumma Ameen. 🙏

On this very day, two years ago - we welcomed our miracle baby Yusuf 🥹 He was our rainbow baby. Our blessing after the storm. It’s been 3 years since we lost our third - Emaan. And we truly believe that Yusuf was sent as a mercy and gift from Allah to heal.

In his two years of life so far, Yusuf has already been on two humanitarian missions. And this week, we are heading to Egypt for his third.

Our new Ramadan campaign has just started and for his birthday, we ask that you make a small (or big) donation.

All funds are sent to our team in Gaza to distribute aid and winter clothing. Give Sadaqa here: LaunchGood.com/Support_the_People_of_Gaza_w_The_Sa…

Keep this little guy in your duas as you send your Sadaqa, we appreciate all you for following us on this journey.

Happy birthday Yushi!

Happy Monday, everyone!

We hope you had an incredible week! For us, it’s been a whirlwind, and we have some major news for all our hijabi sisters out there. We can’t spill the details just yet, but trust us—it’s something that could redefine the hijab industry in the West, inspired by some amazing discoveries here in the East. Stay tuned—you won’t want to miss this! Subscribe to Lala Hijabs or follow us on socials there to be the first to know!

On another note, we’re so thrilled about the launch of our very first new season and episode of “Saleh Family Speaks” podcast yesterday! The response has been wonderful, and we’re counting down the days until part 2 drops this Wednesday. Catch part one here: OUR STORY - How We Met and Got Married & Conversion to Islam
https://youtu.be/K_5R15_-EeA

We’re back in the studio tomorrow to create even more content, and we’d love to hear your suggestions—what topics do you want us to dive into next?

In just a few weeks, we’ll be heading to Egypt with Human Concern International to meet families displaced by the genocide in Gaza. It will undoubtedly be a heavy experience, but we’re committed to amplifying their stories and working towards a brighter, more compassionate world for everyone.

Our fundraiser is still going strong, but we have a long way to go to reach our goal of sponsoring 10,000 orphans. If you’re able to, please consider donating. Every contribution, no matter the size, reminds these kids that they are loved, supported, and never forgotten. Together, we can make a lasting impact. Donate here: www.LaunchGood.com/SupportGazaWSalehFamily

Let’s make this week amazing!
