Canon PRO-310 - update FYI

Unfortunately, my PRO-310 testing has been delayed a few weeks, since Canon UK didn't have a new uninitialised printer to send me.
I'd rather wait, so I can show the full set-up process, out of the box. I know a lot of people do like to see this and it makes for a better coverage of the printer, for people wondering about getting one.
However, remember that apart from minor ink changes, the 310 is not significantly different to the PRO-300, which I've tested in detail here [including. links to videos]
www.northlight-images.co.uk/canon-pro-300-printer-…

PRO-300/310 differences

- Lucia PRO II inks -as per pro-1100
- Max page length to 1.8m
- Additional page sizes and extra borderless ones [A5 at last]
- New quality option to reduce bronzing on glossy papers

Free Windows equivalent to Mac ColorSync Utility?
I often illustrate icc profile shapes/volumes in my videos with the Mac CSU [found in the Utilities folder in Applications]
Whilst there is no specific Windows tool, there is a free version of Gamutvision which may help
www.gamutvision.com/modules.php?name=Download

Gamut vision does a lot more than the Mac CSU, but I don't have a PC to test/explore it further

100MP images from Fuji GFX100S + 30mm TS lens printing at 60 inch by 80 inch on the Epson P20500 - on 60 inch roll paper. Printing from Epson Print Layout...
CORRECTION - going back to the raw file, this was actually taken when I was testing the GF23mm, not the 30mm.
I'll be doing a video covering this print, and will likely return to it when I next get to do some more testing

Test shots from my Neewer light panel review [ https://youtu.be/egmcr_iZW50 ]
video notes

They show how even it is and that as with all LED based lighting with a colour temperature display, you should use the values for indicative and unit matching purposes only

Update Aug 4th 2024
There will be some delays with the channel, since in the last week we've had two deaths in the close family, so things are a bit busy...
However, both Karen and myself are 'doing stuff' people, so new stuff is still underway, just might be delayed a bit. Well, that and I've some very interesting new stuff to test this month... ;-)
If you've not seen it, do check the very detailed categorised index of all my 650+ videos [vastly easier to use than anything YT offers a channel]
