Owner, George Langabeer, has been catching criminals using surveillance equipment for over 20 years. He worked as a loss prevention manager at a regional retailer for 13 years, where he caught over 1000 criminals. In 2008 he started SilverHammer to share that experience to assist homeowners and business owners protect what matters most. He’s been doing so ever since.
In addition to protecting the masses, George also has a passion for tech. As much as he loves talking about security, he also loves talking tech (specifically Apple HomeKit - now known as Apple Home).
In October 2022, the Channel started a new chapter, when George was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. It’s important to George that he shares his cancer journey and spreads awareness. If you’re over 45, male or female, get a colonoscopy!
