I’m a retired fire captain with just over 29 years on the job. My first station assignment was with a bunch of seasoned vets and they told me I was the new cook, haha. I hadn’t cooked much for myself let alone a bunch of dudes that judge you on EVERYTHING. Thank God for Emeril Lagasse , I watched his show religiously and he got me started on a journey that ended up being a passion that I love and still enjoy to this day.
