Rooted Bush Safaris is situated a 30 min drive from main Hoedspruit Town. The farm is approximately 261 hectares, with the undulating hills it is closer to 360 hectares. The property boasts a variety of plains game with approximately 500 bird species in and around the area. The camp allocates for self-catering in a group setting, with the feeling of ‘owning your own lodge’. Stay in one of our glamping styled tents with an on-suite bathroom. With tent flaps up, wake up and fall asleep, bringing in nature and soaking up the sounds of the African bush. From the farm, it’s a 40-minute drive to Phalaborwa Gate and approximately an hour and ten minutes to Orpen Gate into the world-famous Kruger National Park. On a clear day, enjoy an ice-cold beverage with friends and family whilst sitting on the main lodge deck overlooking a boasting view of the Blyde River Canyon the third largest in the world which is part of the Klein Drakensburg.
