Sh. Abdullah Oduro was born in Arlington, Texas and raised in Houston, TX. He converted to Islam in 1997, a year later, he made Hajj for the first time and in 1999 he was accepted to the Islamic University of Al-Madinah, where he graduated from the faculty of Islamic Law in 2007.
He also founded KnewU, a non profit organization that serves as a social and educational resource for those that revert to Islam or renew their faith.
Sh. Abdullah Oduro conducts public speeches, sermons, lectures and workshops on Islamic law, self improvement and convert life.
He lives with his wife and 4 children in Dallas, Texas where he works as the Imam of the Islamic Center of Coppell as well as leading the revert life department at Yaqeen Institute.
